Hello learners. Welcome to Learn with Imran.This post is for the students of class 8 of new curriculum. In this post, I will discuss and solve Exercise: 1.1.1, of Experience-1, Beauty in Poetry.Let's dive into it.
Beauty in Poetry
Questions:
a. Have you ever been compared with anyone or to anything like Riana?
b. Whom/what have you been compared to?
c. Why did s/he compare you with that thing/person?
d. How did you feel then?
e. Do you think that comparing one thing to another similar thing helps us to understand something/someone better? If yes, how?
The answers to the questions are subjective. They will vary from person to person . Here , I am providing possible answers to the questions.
Possible Answers
a. Answer: Yes, I have been compared to Humayun Ahmed by my teacher.
b. Answer: I was compared to Humayun Ahmed, the celebrated author of Bangladesh.
c. Answer: My teacher admired my story-writing skills and creativity. She said, “Your stories are as imaginative as those of Humayun Ahmed.”
d. Answer: I felt very happy and proud when she compared me to Humayun Ahmed.
e. Answer: Yes, comparing similar things helps us understand them better. It helps us appreciate their qualities and achievements. It also highlights similarities and differences, allowing us to learn and grow.
